Time off for Mama

Mama has some time to herself on this lovely Tuesday. It feels so nice to be able to wake up at 10:30AM and chill some. My Mother-in-law took Ian last night so I have a little time off to relax after the big move. I sure needed it, but I can not wait to get my little man back this evening. I have been sitting here watching videos of him and almost coming to tears. Sessh, us women who tend to cry at everything. Why did the Lord have to put this upon us?! I best stop talking about him before I really pop up with some wet ones.
I finally got the video tour of the apartment finished today. When you watch try to not get too dizzy as I did not realize until after the whole taping at how much moving I was doing on the camera.

I really love this place and am happy with everything here. I could not have asked for a better place. I still want to get all my wall things up but dear hubby is still holding me back from that as he says we don’t know where our wires run through yet. I have a lot I need to get hung up on the wall as you can see from the video. Too much white walls in here for my taste! I want to paint but it doesn’t look like that will be an option for me. These walls have a pattern on them like the ceilings in the us do so there is dips all over them which makes it hard to get the paint in all the dips. So, it looks like wall art is needed here!
So since last night we had an Ian free night I convinced AndrĂ© to go out to dinner. We chose the Aussie Restaurant and I got to try Kangaroo for the first time. It was not easy for me to make this decision but I used the excuse that it had to be an old dying Roo. I love the Roo, so tasty and I joined the clean plate club! My award?, a Ben and Jerry’s Piece of Cake Ice cream. Have I mentioned how much I love food? Maybe that’s why I can’t lose these last few pounds

The house looks amazing, Lisa. I can't wait to come visit and see it for real! It has all kinds of cool little things and is pretty modernistic looking (if that's a word). I like how there is tons of storage.
